Located away from busy roads, the villa is only 150 mtrs to a secluded beach, and just a few mins. walk to the excellent local restaurants.
This stylish villa is situated in an area that still holds onto its attractive local charm, and remains unaffected by over-development.
Driving times are 10 minutes to Lamai Beach and 25 minutes to Chaweng Beach.

Hideaway Villa is a perfect romantic and exotic getaway. This elegant and delightful Villa has two double en-suite Bedrooms, salt water swimming pool, beautiful open plan Balinese/Thai Living and Dining area, Indoor Living area with air conditioning, fully fitted Kitchen, tropical gardens and wrap around Lotus Pond with colourful carp, catfish and baby turtles.
There is a beautiful and exotic Balinese / Thai style tropical open plan living room, with Smart TV with Netflix, Youtube, etc., and a dining area with dining table & chairs. Both these areas overlook the lovely salt water swimming pool and Lotus pond.
The villa is equipped with fibre optic Wifi.
Location
Hideaway Villa is located about a 10 minute drive south of Lamai which is one of the most attractive seaside towns on the island and arguably boasts the finest beach on Koh Samui. Nearby to the villa many of the island's main attractions are less than 10 minute drive away, which include The Waterfalls, The Elephant Trekking, The Grandmother Grandfather Rocks, amongst many others.

Local Laem Set beach, a 5 min walk from Hideaway Villa, is a lovely natural area. It has mangroves, palm trees and sandy beach, retaining a tranquil and peaceful charm. It is also not a touristy beach with lots of attractions. This can hold an appeal where you will not find crowds of people and hawkers. The water is shallow and safe for swimming which can be ideal with small children.
Enjoy a quiet massage on the beach in front of the clear waters, or a drink at the Thai style bamboo Cool Bar located right on the beach, serving excellent food and drinks.
Just a 10 min drive away is Lamai Beach. This has a long expansive beach and caters far more for tourists with restaurants, bars, water sports and other attractions.
There are many fine restaurants serving Thai and Western dishes close to the villa, some within walking distance, dozens of others within 5-10 mins drive.
With the Lotus Tesco Superstore and the popular large food supermarket, Makro located in Lamai, and 24hr Family Marts & 7-11’s everywhere, your every need is catered for.

General
The southern part of the island where the villa is located remains pretty much unspoiled, especially compared to the north. It still has that rustic charm appeal that the whole of Samui once boasted years ago. We are frequently told by guests they find the Thai people in this southern part of the island extremely hospitable, and welcoming. In the north where it is far more crowded and touristy on the island there is not always the opportunity to discover the true warmth and charm of the local people. The beaches in the south remain pretty much undeveloped, due mainly to the shallow coastline. If you like to explore you can still find areas where you have the beach to yourself, and never too far away will be a rustic Thai restaurant where you can enjoy true authentic local dishes.
We provide complimentary pick up for guests from the Samui airport / ferry terminal / hotel to your Villa and a return journey at the end of the visit (one in each direction).
Local Attractions
Within only a 1-2 minute walk from the Villa there is the charming area of Laem Sett where you have fine restaurants serving delicious Thai and European food, a small coffee shop, mini-marts for your daily needs, several laundry shops, a few small bars, well reputed massage shops, taxi services and a travel agency.
Also close by is Centara Villas Resort and Samui Orchid which opens its doors to non residents and have many facilities to enjoy, including numerous restaurants and bars go on spoil yourself.
5 minutes away by motorbike or car you have the fishing village of Baan Hua Thanon where fresh fish, fruit and vegetables are sold daily at the local market, also the home of Vitamin C Restaurant, a well recommended eatery with a lovely ocean view across the Bay .
The seaside town of Lamai the second largest on the island and far superior in every way to the noisy Chaweng is just 10 minutes away by motorbike or car where you can party until dawn, fine dine in one of the many beach side restaurants, shop until you drop or just relax in one of the many watering holes Lamai has to offer and watch the world go by.
Amphoe Ko Samui Stadium, only a 5 min drive away, is home to many popular sports events, where visitors can come to watch the activities. It is located in an attractive area, surrounded by a lake/reservoir where there is a football field, basketball etc and you can also walk around or jog with lots of shade. Also outdoor fitness park with brightly coloured exercise equipment which is free to use.
Just remember nowhere on the island is more than 50 minutes away, private car hire with a driver, taxis, motor bike taxis and the local public transport which run around the ring road called songtaos or simply hire a motorbike or car.
