Inside the Villa

Fully furnished in a Western style, Palm View Villa incorporates a living, dining and kitchen area; 4 spacious bedrooms, additional garden Lounge and Yoga/Meditation/Massage area, large swimming pool with jetted seating area, and private car parking. The open plan interior opens out through French doors to the pool side and sun deck. The master bedroom also opens out to the pool, has en-suite bathroom, which includes bathtub, shower, wash basin and toilet.  The other bedrooms have en-suite shower, wash basin and toilet.  Bedroom 2 also opens out to the pool.

The lower level comprises of Bedroom 4 en-suite with its own private terrace with table, chairs and parasol.   On the Lower floor is a peaceful, open plan tropical Living and Reading room with sofas seating up to 8 people, coffee table and bookcase where guests can sit and relax.  Attached to this area is a new Yoga/Meditation/Massage area and lovely Lotus pond with tropical fish and lush green tropical garden. Yoga mats provided.

We also have a professional masseuse that will come to the villa at your request, and at a very reasonable price if required.

The utility room with washing machine is also on the lower floor. 

The kitchen includes electric oven, gas hob, microwave, kettle toaster, slo cooker, blender, double fronted fridge/freezer, and granite work tops. Living room includes a two seater and three-seater sofa, coffee table, 55 inch LCD flat screen SMART TV with Netflix, Youtube, etc., dining area, teak table that seats 8 people. To rear of the wall that houses the LCD is an office area with a desk and free wifi connection. The floors and bathroom walls throughout the main house all have beautiful Terrazzo giving it a classic look. We also have a built in gas BBQ for guests to enjoy.

The villa is installed with fibre optic wifi.

Nearby to the Villa many of the island's main attractions are less than 10 minute drive away, which include Waterfalls, Elephant Trekking, The Grandmother Grandfather Rocks, amongst many others. Rocky's Boutique Resort is also only a 3 min drive away.

Palm View Villa is located in a peaceful and very secure location, just 5 min drive away from Lamai Beach, which is the second largest seaside town on the island with a beautifully wide and expansive beach.

The nearest beach to Palm View Villa is Bang Chuet Bay, which is only 700 mtrs and less than a 10 min walk away. It is a very attractive bay with several fine restaurants, serving both delicious Thai and European food. There is the excellent Krua Chao Ban restaurant and a number of lovely Restaurants all idylically set looking over the beautiful Bay. The Bay is not commercialised, and provides a local charm and beauty to the vicinity, where you can easily wile away your days and evenings. Water sports are to be found here.
 
The seaside town of Lamai Beach, the second largest on the island and far superior in every way to the congested Chaweng, is only 5 minutes away by motorbike or car, where you can fine dine in one of the many beach side restaurants, shop until you drop, party until dawn or just relax in one of the many watering holes Lamai has to offer and watch the world go by.

For your shopping you have a brand new 24 hour Family Mart just 700 mtrs away at Bang Chuet Bay, together with Tesco Express just 700 mtrs away in the opposite direction at Baan Hua Thanon.  This is a small and attractive fishing village with a daily market that sells fresh fish, fruit and vegetables.  For large grocery shopping there are Superstores Tesco Lotus and Makro in Lamai, only a 5 min drive away.

Amphoe Ko Samui Stadium, only a 5 min drive away, is home to many popular sports events, where visitors can come to watch the activities. It is located in an attractive area, surrounded by a lake/reservoir where there is a football field, basketball etc and you can also walk around or jog with lots of shade. Also outdoor fitness park with brightly coloured exercise equipment which is free to use.

Just remember nowhere on the island is more than 50 minutes away, private car hire with a driver, taxis, motorbike taxis and the local public transport which run around the ring road called song taews or simply hire a motorbike or car.

General

The southern part of the island where the villa is located remains pretty much unspoiled, especially compared to the north.  It still has that rustic charm appeal that the whole of Samui boasted years ago.  We are frequently told by guests they find the Thai people in this southern part of the island extremely hospitable, and welcoming.  In the north where it is far more crowded and touristy on the island there is not always the opportunity to discover the true warmth and charm of the local people. The beaches on the south remain pretty much undeveloped, due mainly to the shallow coastline.  If you like to explore you can still find areas where you have the beach to yourself.

We provide complimentary transfer for guests from the Samui airport / ferry terminal / hotel to your Villa and a return journey at the end of the visit (one in each direction).


The use of an automatic Toyota Avanza or similar vehicle is included in the price of the 4 and 3 bedroom rental.
